My Express Shipping Disaster: 19 Days and Still No Glasses! 😤
Let me tell you about a truly terrible online shopping experience, one that I hope serves as a cautionary tale. I ordered glasses on March 30th, paying extra for express shipping (3-5 day delivery) because my old pair broke. But day 5 came, then day 10, and my order was still 'in production.' By day 11, I had to call for a shipping refund, which they processed almost too easily. Now, nearly three weeks later, day 19, these glasses are STILL 6 days out on delivery! It's absolutely terrible, terrible, terrible – still no glasses. I felt compelled to leave this review and engage with customer service because it truly feels like nobody gives a crap about their customers.
Customer: Hello, I'm calling about order [Order Number]. I placed it March 30th, paid for express 3-5 day shipping. It's now April 18th, and I still don't have my glasses! Tracking says they're still 6 days out. This is completely unacceptable. CS Rep: I understand your frustration and sincerely apologize for this significant delay. I confirm the express shipping fee was refunded on April 10th. Can you verify? Customer: Yes, the refund came through, but that doesn't get me my glasses! My old pair broke; that's why I paid for express. What can you do to speed this up, or at least explain this massive delay? CS Rep: You're absolutely right, the refund doesn't solve your urgent need. Checking production now, it appears there was an unforeseen delay in lens manufacturing for your prescription. We're expediting it. I can offer an additional 15% discount on this order and will personally push the production team. Customer: An additional discount is fine, but I just want my glasses. When can I actually expect them? CS Rep: I understand. With my intervention, I anticipate they should ship within 24-48 hours. I'll personally email you an update with revised tracking as soon as it's available.
